Nettuno Baseball Pop-Up Museum

The Nettuno Baseball Museum is an initiative dedicated to celebrating the history, introduction and the growth of the influence of baseball in the city of Nettuno, Italy. This project aims to honor the link between the Allied landing in the city of Nettuno during the Second World War and the introduction of baseball in Italy thanks to the American soldiers. In 2024 we will celebrate 80 years since the soldiers first played baseball in Nettuno, which lead to the “Birth” of baseball in Nettuno and overall in Italy.

Our goal is to preserve and promote the background, history, introduction, and culture of baseball in Nettuno. Educate the public on the history of the Allied Landings in Nettuno, during the Battle of Anzio, and its impact on the spread of baseball in Italy. Create an engaging and interactive experience for visitors of all ages. Stimulate cultural and sports tourism in the region.
