Michael B. Levy of Washington, DC was first appointed to the Commission on October 13, 2000 and most recently reappointed on August 28, 2002 at the recommendation of the President pro tempore of the U. S. Senate. His term expired on July 13, 2004 but, pursuant to law, he continues to serve in it until a new appointment is made.
